EXPERIENCE.
Joe Woodard has over 10 years of experience supporting clients who use QuickBooks has taught
QuickBooks to over 20,000
accounting professional and other Intuit Advisors. Joe currently works with Intuit,
state CPA societies and Atlanta-area CPA firms to present advanced
QuickBooks instruction to accounting professionals and software consultants.
In 2010 Joe will host and present during his
second annual QuickBooks conference for
Intuit Advisors - "Scaling New Heights."
UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP WITH INTUIT.
Joe Woodard has earned a unique
relationship with Intuit as a trainer,
consultant and author. Joe regularly publishes articles as a freelance
columnist for the Intuit ProConnection
and ProAdvisor newsletters. Joe also provides advisory services to
Intuit regarding product development, project management, and Intuit's
interaction with accounting professionals. In 2007, Joe wrote 25% of the
curriculum offered by Intuit as part of the first Advanced Certification process. When launched, this training curriculum was a requirement
for QuickBooks consultants to earn an Advanced Certification on QuickBooks
and Joe conducted about 50% of this training personally.
PUBLISHED AUTHOR. In 2009, Joe has
self-published two advanced-level technical manuals on QuickBooks:
100 QuickBooks Tips, Tricks and Workarounds, and
Archiving QuickBooks Data Files. Joe is also a featured columnist on
QuickBooks-related topics for AccountingWeb.com.
NETWORKING ORGANIZATIONS FOR INTUIT ADVISORS.
Joe has extensive and unrivaled
experience building networking organizations for Intuit
Advisors. Intuit has historically sought Joe's guidance regarding
developments and structure of the ProAdvisor Program and Intuit Solution
Provider Program - for which Intuit hand-picked Joe to be a charter member.
In addition to hosting the National Advisor
Network, Joe also hosts two of the four largest LinkedIn Groups for Intuit
Advisors and he hosts the largest Yahoo Email Group for Intuit Advisors in
the U.S.
CONSULTING EXPERIENCE. Joe built two successful accounting software consulting practices: the first in New Orleans, Louisiana and the second in Atlanta, Georgia – Creative Financial Software (CFS). In addition to consulting with small businesses, CFS provides advisory services to CPA firms and other QuickBooks ProAdvisors/Intuit Solution Providers across the country -- helping them to better service their clients who use Intuit products.
CERTIFICATIONS, PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS AND EDUCATION. Joe is an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor, an Intuit Solution Provider (certified on QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, Intuit Field Service Management ES, Intuit Warehouse Management ES and Intuit QuickBase), and a Certified Fishbowl Reseller. Joe is also a charter member of Method's Solution Provider Program - Reseller Level. Joe holds a BA from Mercer University in Macon GA and studied accounting at the graduate level at The University of New Orleans.
In 2006, Joe was also recognized in The CPA Technology Advisor's first annual 40 Under 40 recognition program as one of the tax and accounting profession's up and coming thought leaders who will help steward the continued evolution of technology in the practice.
